01/01/13 Opinion: Tesei and Theis Need To Listen To Marzullo On Matters Concerning Byram

The Republican leadership of Greenwich has pretty much failed on flooding of the Byram River, dedicating public safety funding for targeting drug sales in Byram and planning for the traffic and business needs of Byram.


As usual, Byram and most of the neighboring areas were 
he Republican leadership of Greenwich. Western Greenwich's very own First Selectman Peter Tesei and Selectman David Theis, both Republicans.


Greenwich's first openly gay selectman, Cos Cob resident Drew Marzullo has been a strong advocate for issues concerning Byram and has earned his $12,640 annually salary.

Marzullo has also been a strong advocate for funding of a renovation project at the town-owned Nathaniel Witherell nursing home, for which $22.6 million has been budgeted.
Marzullo burst onto the scene in 2009, when he outpolled his running mate, then-Democratic Selectman Lin Lavery, whose challenge of Tesei for the town's top post was unsuccessful.
Since then, he has co-existed in relative harmony with his GOP counterparts Tesei and Theis,
